How do I book both tans online with the Bronzed Bride Package?

Choose the first button called “The Bronzed Bride Package” and select the date you would like to do your first trial. Keep in mind that it needs to be at least 10 days before your wedding to allow time to scrub it off. Next select the button below called “The Bronzed Bride Package - Second Booking.” And choose the date that is ideally two days before your wedding or one if that is what will work best.

What's included in the package?

The Bronzed Bride Package includes 1 x trial tan where we have our initial consultation and choose the perfect tan for your skin type and your desired colour. Your second trial tan includes some extra pampering before your big day because we know you will be racing around like crazy getting everything and everyone organised. This tan includes a beautifully hydrating face serum, a botanical, full body primer to create the perfect canvas, our customised spray tan we have chosen from your initial appointment and the setting powder. We will also include a special offer for all your gorgeous bridesmaids so everyone can be bronzed and feeling amazing.

Should I have a trial? If so, when?

100% you should have a trial as the bride to be. This is because it gives you the opportunity to make sure you love the colour for your special day. We have 12 + solutions to choose from which means we can find the perfect match just for you. It also allows you to see how it will look on your special day. A lot of brides like to book the trial in for their hens party tan.

How long before my wedding should I get my tan?

Two days before any event is the best option. This is because it is fully developed after 48 hours. If you need to do it the day before this is also ok as it is 95% developed by then. You want to make the spray tan your last beauty stop. Get lashes, hair, nails, waxing etc all done before your tan. 24 hours before at least for lashes, waxing and shaving.

Can I choose how tan I want to be?

Absolutely! This is why the trial tan is so important because we can talk about your skin type and how dark you would like to go. Most brides want their tan to subtly compliment their dress rather than being the star of the show which means a short rinse off time for a really natural looking tan.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

How do I pay?

Full payment is taken online at the time of booking so it’s nice and easy.

What if my trial and final tans are with two different technicians?

This is a very valid question. All of the Tan Techs here at The Tanning Boutique go through a rigorous training process to ensure we all tan the same and that you get the same results no matter who you are tanning with. We check the amount of product we use after each tan, follow the same routine each time and triple check our work to ensure every tan is consistent and flawless so you can be assured you are in safe hands.

What if I want to adjust my final tan from what I had at my trial?

No worries! This is what it’s all about and we can talk through all this with you. If it’s a complete change then you can do another trial (time permitting) before your wedding at a discounted rate.

Will the spray tan blend my tan lines?

This one is tricky. A spray tan definitely minimises tan lines but we can’t guarantee that we can get rid of really strong ones completely. There are techniques we can use to blend them in and make them look a whole lot better but they might still be there a little. Best thing to do is not go out in the sun leading up to your wedding to reduce the risk of peeling and tan lines at your wedding tan appointment.

Will the tan rub off on my dress?

This shouldn’t happen if you have had a proper shower 12 hours after your initial rinse off time because there will be no bronzer left on your skin to transfer. The only time it may rub off on your dress is if it is really structured and tight and it is chafing your skin to the point that your skin (and tan) will come off onto the dress.

Will my nails get stained?

No. We wipe them off to insure they won’t be stained. If we left the tan on your nails and they are natural or light coloured polish then yes they could stain which is why we always make sure you wipe them off during your tanning session.
